Windows 8.1 and 7 installations on separate SSDs?

Same PC.

Currently have Windows 8.1 installed on one SSD.

If I installed Windows 7 on another SSD would it work if I just select which SSD the motherboard boots into?

Any conflicts?

If when you install windows 7 you only have the 1 SSD the OS is going on installed on it should be fine.

I've done similar with xp and 8.1 when upgrading a PC and using the bios to swap between them.
