My upgrade is ready to download :D to Windows 10

Before I press that magic button from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 free upgrade is it really worth it ? and is their much difference

I need some advise , would be grateful

I have no issues with W10, I enjoy using it and for once I have kept the original start menu. in the builds I was planning to use classic shell but stuck with the normal one as I don't mind it.

i went from W7 to W10 and glad i did and i have had no issues with any hardware or drivers and that's after doing a clean install.

if you want to try it before you upgrade download one of the ISO files for W10 and set it up using virtual box or VMware and then if you don't like it you can just delete the virtual machine and keep using 8.1

:eek: I am thinking about pressing that download button for Windows 10

Free upgrade worth a try, personally I've done two upgrades from 8.1 to 10 with no issues, quite happy with it.

My brother did 7 to 10 with no issues.

Everybody has different opinions ,but end of the day only you will know the answer to your question.

Learning curve from 8.1 to 10 is low.

I have it on my laptop and surface, no issues at all. I much much prefer it, never liked 8.1 and that metro screen, just turned the whole thing into a mess! Will keep my 2 window 7 machines (and my 2 windows XP machines :D) though I have my 3D printer to 8.1 -> Windows 10 once I check compatibility of the software.

1 think I did notice that the internet has slowed down just a touch i.e. loading web-pages , could be a driver issue maybe ?

My speed test has gone from 57 Mbps to 26 Mbps :eek: ?
