Windows 8 Experience Index

Shank.. It only says not responding when I try to end task it. It has been cancelling for the last hour?? Done a sfc /scannow. replaced corrupted files. But I cannot read the logs.
need admin... only way to stop it is to reboot!

Sorry didn't know you was trying to cancel. Only thing I can think of is force cancel, Open task manager and see if it list the program not responding.
 
Tried it at stock. The same. CPU z doesn't move from 1600ghz. if I open another web it goes up to 3400. But nothing happens with WEI...work on 7 no issues at all.
 
Yeah it's actually as useful as the previous versions, no use at all, my sli scores 7.3, in windows 7 it was 7.9, disk data is 7.8 but in 7 was 7.9, only thing that has gone up is cpu, it's now 8.1 in 7 it was only 7.5 or lower i think

I know this is quite an old thread.

I am getting the same problems with Windows 8 Experience Index.

My GTX 480's in SLi only score 7.1 where as they were 7.9 in W7.

I am not that bothered as it means nothing but just wondering if this is normal.
