Windows 8 SUCKS!

I installed the release last night in a vm and I cant say I am liking it very much so far, the whole metro feel just feels wrong for a PC. Maybe it'll grow on me once there are some proper apps designed for the pc, there is just too little information displayed on the screen. I am pretty much at the opposite end of the spectrum from a tablet having 4x1920x1200 monitors however.

On the up side it looks pretty easy to develop for..

You can click a button to get a win 7 style desktop (Not that it shows running metro apps) and if you click the start button it just sends you back to the metro interface..
 
This is the problem with allowing any old chap that coming along download and installing these pre beta dev previews.

Endless whine about Windows 8 already from people that have no clue what it is they have downloaded and are using (evidently wrongly).

You really don't have a single clue what you are talking about. Windows8 is probably the biggest update ever. It will not flop, do you have any idea how simple and powerful it is for developers.

I really wish people who try w8, watch the bloody keynotes so they understand what is going on, before jumping to totally stupid conclusions.

Oh, I know what i'm talking about, been around computers for 30 years, in fact, before the personal computer came out.;)

What I have learned in 30 yrs, the both of you could never learn in a life time.:D
 
Don't like Windows 8 myself. I stick with Windows 7 for the next 5 years! No upgrade, no penny off me to Microsoft! I will believe when Microsoft profit and share will fall down on Windows 8 release next year, no ones ain't buying it!

Awful layout!
