Windows 8 upgrade with a twist!

Here's one for you guys:

I want windows 8 (English), but I'm in Brazil, and have tried to download from MS via the official channels and "upgrade assistant", however everything I have tried has resulted in a "couldn't process your order - check payment details" error even though everything is 100% correct and using an international Mastercard, American express didn't work - even though they accept it.

What are the legal options to get Windows 8 - x64 English, buying from a store in Brazil is not an option due to it being 4-5 times the price of the download and not being in English.

Ideas?

I get the same error regardless of language or payment method, even tried paypal... same result

try setting your OS to UK. its in Control Panel > Clock, Language and Region > Region

then reboot.

I tried setting to UK and Brazil, either it doesn't work.

And I'm in Brazil.

only other way is to ask a friend or something in uk to buy it for u then u send them the money back

That`s my last resort really...but already working on it in case...
