I decided to give windows 8 developer preview a go a few months back, it does seem to be very oriented towards a touch screen device, and as I have zero programming skills most of the preview was probably lost one me, I did enjoy playing around with it, and was really impressed :

(sorry about the huge images - stole from google lol )

I was just wondering if anyone here with a decent knowledge in software programming would know how hard this would be to say release as an update for windows 7 etc? Just curious as it seems to be the only feature I've seen so far in W8 that I've truly liked lol - many thanks in advance

Try copying over TM.exe and running it. I think it's in the system32 folder.*

*I cannot be held responsible for any damages. :p

I'l wait untill someone else tries it and gives feedback XD - wouldnt wanna **** up my pc lol

Didnt even know about process explorer lol I was just curious if it would be hard for microsoft to release as an update for &/Vista etc lol

Will the release of Windows 8 bring down the cost of Windows 7 and if so by how much??

Never has in the past, I'm holding out hope for pre order discount, as it worked so well for windows 7, I'm pretty confinement they will do it again. Easy way to get a sizeable use base instantly.
Then it was £45 if you preorderd windows 7 home premimum.

Although you'll probably find windows7 in the members market.
