I keep getting error code 0x8007232B, "dns name does not exist". Typical of this stupid activation system to fail. Anyone know how to fix it?

I've tried that but it doesn't work.

I can't contact microsoft support either because they charge an extortionate £240 for email support, disgraceful that they don't even offer free product support for their products like every other company in the world!

Hmm, sounds a bit dodgy. Legal version?

If it wasn't a legal version I wouldn't be having any of these problems in the first place. :p

Judging by Mattey1's link, it sounds like you're you trying to install a corporate version on a home PC? It might be looking for a Key Management Server on a corporate network using DNS.

Yeah it's x64 Enterprise Edition. Even if I connect to the uni network using vpn though I can't get it to work.

How do I do that? I just have to hope vista doesn't crash again before I can do it, I've already had 2 bsod's in a couple of days, very unstable!
