After upgrading my PC. motherboard, memory processor I can't get Windows 11 to activate,

I ger error code, 0xc004f211

Will I need to purchase a new key?

If your license key is an OEM 1 then its tied to the first system you activate it against.

If its an retail key you can move it between systems.

I cannot remember, although I am sure it is retail

It's retail, had to sign in to my Microsoft account and it worked
