Hi, i have an external 320gb media drive which is always being connected / disconnected as i use it as a media drive as well as backup.

every time i connect it in the system restore it appears and creats about 1 - 2 gb worth of system restore files which i then tell system restore to stop monitoring this drive and turn it off which gets rid of the files leaving my pc's own hard drives with the restore points, yet even though i turn system restore off for this external drive when i disconnect the drive and reconnect it again, it then starts creating more restore points.

is there anyway to tell my system never to create these on any drives apart from my pc's on hard drives?

thanks

James
