Is it worth using?

ive always been unsire so perioically i jsut drag and drop and replce folders that are important to me, was just curious as to what the Windows Backup was any good.

Which version of Windows XP/Vista/7?

XP backup is limited to tapes and disk but not optical media.
In Vista and Windows 7 you have to buy a higher version to get the backup software and that is very good.

Well, it's in the Home Premium version as well, but if you want to back up to network shares you need Pro/Enterprise/Ultimate. Aside from that it's the same i.e. good.

How much does it back up...to be honest I dont need it to back up windows as such, or my programmes, I have all of them and preferr a clean install if anything goes wrong.

Is theire any way you can set it jsut to back up certain files, then do incrementals?

Or am I asking to much of it?
