windows cmd for external IP

For the life of me I cannot remember what command for windows to get an external ip. In linux I simply use curl ipinfo.io

Anyone know it off the top of their head? Google is failing me

i'm pretty sure there isn't one. there are windows builds of cURL here though...

Google "what's my ip" and it'll tell you, if that helps.

No cmd as such from batch, you need a script to do that.

Powershell can though

that's no good as it only shows your internal ip address. if you have a direct connection to the internet it would work but not many people do. we all hide behind routers these days.
