Windows error?

hmm, i had soming similar to this, i think it was a trojan, basicly a window poped up saying go to a certain website and buy our stuff, just seems kinda dodgy having an error box leading to a webpage that isnt even microsofts
 
I wouldn't trust that software. I went to the site and got a popup with install.exe. Use a program like Lavasoft Ad-Aware to scan for spyware. You can also dissable the messanger service so that you won't get these messages again.
 
just ran a norton virus scan and it seems to have fixed the problem....however if it persists i will run ad aware.....

grrrr its back :-(

I ran ad aware it found it and deleted it apparently....its spyware alright but its doing my head in....how can i completely remove it?

Please help
 
Best thing to do is another fresh install but don't connect your internet until you have your Firewall and antivirus software installed.
 
This is normal, it's the messenger service built into windows.

Go to start/run
Type 'services.msc'
Go down to messenger and properties on it.
Disable it.
