Windows Experience Index dropped out of nowhere

I used to have above a 7 for my disk data transfer rate.

It has now dropped to 5.9.

It's a Crucial M4 64 GB SSD.

What's happened?

5.9 is the maximum for a mechanical drive. So Windows thinks you now have a HDD instead of an SSD... for some reason.

how much free space left on the ssd? look in ssdlife to see if trims enabled
