Hopefully someone has a solution to this problem.
Friend has a machine running Vista 32bit. He has an SD Card containing a load of family photos.
When he inserts the card into the SD Slot on his computer it brings up the Autoplay box where you can select what to do with the card. At the bottom one of the options under General Options is "Open folder to view file".
If he selects this option, Windows Explorer opens but rather than showing the files, the content is blank. The cursor turns into the blue circular 'busy' icon and eventually the window displays the title Windows Explorer (Not Responding).
The account he is using is an Administrator account.
Weird thing is this. If his wife logs onto her account, which is also an Admin account and inserts the same card into the SD slot, the Autoplay window opens and if she selects "Open folder to view file" then Windows Explorer opens and the files are displayed. None of the files are corrupted.
Any ideas on what to do or what is causing this problem?
