Windows Explorer start folder

How can I change the windows explorer start folder (When I open windows explorer it starts at Document settings\my user\)

I just want it to start at C:\

I'm guessing it's a registry entry but does anyone know where to find it?

This will open it in "My computer" Copy and paste in explorer properties target field.
%systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

I am sure there is one for C:/ Google it

Sorry Bony Maloney, where do you mean for me to put this? If I go into regedit and go to:

Shell\Shell\explore\command\ and then edit the value of defualt which currently is "%SystemRoot%\Explorer.exe /e,/idlist,%I,%L"

Sorry m8, right click on your windows explorer icon, select properties, and paste it into your target field

Ahh I see, ok done that, thx. I normally get into windows explorer by right clicking the start menu and clicking explore, doing it this way still goes into my documents\my user\ etc

Do you think that reg key will be responsible for that?

start--all programmes--accessories--windows explorer. righ click--properties paste in target field

Right click on explorer - left click properties and paste the followingin the Target field:-

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e, /root,

note the commas and spaces!!
