Windows Folder Browser - Whats wrong here?

So, I don't appear to be able to use the file picker/folder browser correctly anymore as I'm missing the nav buttons from the left.

The dialog shows the same from all applications - not just Chrome as pictured. Any idea what has gone wrong here?

Looks like you've used some registry cleaner and broken something, or perhaps un-installing an app has removed the wrong keys. You will need to work out what you've done recently that may have caused this.

Try clicking Organize and playing with the Layout or Folder and Search options in Explorer.

Create a new user account and see if it's the same on that account too.

Dont these normally reside in the Links folder in your home directory?

I'd be looking at a system restore to undo whatever has gone wrong.

The folders you've added manually do yeah. C:\Users\Yourname\Links. He's trashed all of it though somehow.
