Windows Game Bar, Tell windows this is a game.....missing.

So ive updated game bar, my Windows is up to date, drivers etc are always kept up to date, but the option to "Tell windows this is a game" on game bar seems to be missing, and as you see from the screen shot, minds eye is running on the frequency cores, any clues anyone ?

UPDATE: So what ive discovered is "Remember this is a game" is showing up when im on my desktop using an app of some kind, but doesnt show up in games, tried an SFC /scannow which found no issues, so the mystery continues.

Your not alone. I have this issue ever since game bar got updated. Not enough information on Google either.

I fixed it with a full reformat and fresh install of everything.

I had this after a fresh install recently.
Windows update was fully up to date but i didnt have the "this is a game" bar at the top even though everything seemed installed ok.
Tried to restart gamebar etc but weirdly it must have been stuck on what I assume was an old version.
The fix was, from memory, somehow forcing gamebar to update, can't recall how i did that though as it wouldn't load properly, definitely not automatically, thinking i might have had to update the windows xbox "app" (?)
