Ok guys according to microsoft all of a sudden i have been a victim of counterfeiting, but i havent, i purchased an OEM edition of vista 64bit ultimate yonks ago now and all of a sudden they are telling me that my copy is not genuine.
please help me recify this,
i have tried several times to verify but it is not working,
the last thing i did on the pc was play bioshock, experience the loading crashes within, and look for a solution on the forums,
one post advised to updgrade the C++ runtimes and the .net framework 3.5 beta, so i did, restarted the pc and all of a sudden i cant validate my windows any more, ive tried system restore to no avail. and i am pretty cheesed off now, i had a similar problem earlier on this/last month wereby windows forgot my code and i had to activate again (at the moment my windows is activated) and it wouldnt let me activate windows, i solved this by "changing" my key (changing it to the same one).
i wont be able to ring for support until tuesday with it being bank holiday so any advice?
i have been reduced to basic vista settings.
