Hi there,
I'M at loss as to what the actual cause of the issue I have with my PC, but this is what is happening:
I can only use certain USB devices on my PC - Namely a Web Cam and a generic USB dongle for my KB and Mouse, apart from these two USB devices nothing else I connect appears to work correctly.
I have a number of different USB Caddies with HDDs in them - They are not recognised, some are usb 2, some are 3 but that makes no difference.
My iPhone does not connect through iTunes - But occasionally it shows in 'This PC'
I have a couple of different USB Storage devices which are not recognised
( When I say recognised, I just cant see them)
The PC Works absolutely fine apart from the above issue - The system is new to me, but a second hand purchase. Its based around an i7 LGA1156 processor, on an oldish itx motherboard. Windows 10 is on the machine.
I done all the suggested 'Apple' things to ensure the iPhone should connect, nothing.
I have run all the updates for windows, nothing.
And I have done a complete fresh install of windows - The PC did boot from the USB storage device which is not seen in windows. I downloaded windows fresh from the microsoft site.
Whilst not critical issues for me, I'd like to know if this is something which is software fixable, or do you think I've upgraded to a faulty PC?
I'd be grateful for any advice or tips you may have
Thanks
