windows listing hdd faliure

windows flashed up that one of my hdd's was about to fail and to perform a back up.
all my data is backed up any way so i ignored it to see what would happen, well nothing has??

my os is on an ssd and i have two 2tb hdds one backing up the other. should i be worried or is this just a ghost in my system?

im running win 7 64bit.

Windows 7 is reading the SMART data from the x2 HDD's and one of them is beginning to fail. You could download a diagnostic utility from the Manufacturers website and run it on each of the HDD's with one disconnected on each test to determine which one it is. What kind of HDD's are they?

Western digital, one is brand new and the other is about 5 months old, I will look for the diagnostic software and see what it comes up with!
