Windows Live Mail...is Rubbish

So I got fed up with having to go to hotmail.com each time to check my emails

Well I don't want to be able to see even my OLD emails without a password.

Doesn't that kind of defeat the point of using an email client in the first place? Going to hotmail.com and having to enter your password before you check your email will take about the same time.

A younger member of the family uses my account to access Steam games.

Nevermind I'm using thunderbird now.

As said, the steam account isn't tied to a single user, all user accounts can use it

What annoys me about Windows Live is how slow it is at loading emails! I do like being able to easily link my accounts together though.

windows is built around the separate user profiles for security. THat's why you can't password protect folders, that just isn't how it's built (business)

OP,Try AMSN...Its like Live messenger/Live mail in one and you can access your Email through it aswell.
