my friend has just informed my that i sent him a message regarding ringtones apparently

James says (13:41):

i use msn on my pc, my laptop and ebuddy on my phone. the time before this message i had been using my laptop before i went to sleep last night in the early hours of the morning. now i have not logged back onto msn untill under an hour ago so that timestamp is a bit worrying as my computers and phone were all off at that time so it wasnt me logged on.... now i have never had anything like this before...

just ran a full scan of this laptop and nothing... is there a way to check the login history of msn... like see a computer address of each time ive logged in?

any other course of action or reccomendations :)
 
lol nope i didnt fall for it becase a.i knew it was a scam and b. i couldnt give a hoot who's blocked me lol
 
Sounds like you've logged into msn somewhere that isn't secure.

I had the same problem a few months ago... I used a pc at work for msn and all of a sudden I (apparently) started sending weight loss spam to all my contacts :rolleyes:

Anyway, make sure you don't have anything nasty running and change your password and security question/answer as mentioned above.
 
I think this is more along the lines of something nasty on his or your PC.

My brother gets this sometimes from his friends and its something on their computer because I thoroughly checked over his with Avira, NOD32, Malwarebytes etc..
 
As above, reset your password and do spyware checks

I block & delete anyone that sends me one of these 'messages' :)
 
well ive done a full scan with microsoft security essentials... anything else i should get and check with?
bit odd also that my name on msn is always James/Sasso no matter where i sign in... bit odd that it was just "james" and now ive changed my password and security stuff so shall have to se if it happens again
