Windows logon screen not working

Hi guys

My dad is having problems getting the windows logon screen to show. He has setup user accounts and ticked the boxes for show welcome screen but the system is just straight going into the admin account without asking.

Anyone any idea's of how to get windows to show the logon screen if the normal way isnt working?

Putting a password for the admin user should in a round about way fix it - I hope

We are getting the screen coming up when the screen saver kicks in and when you use switch user. But not on the intial boot up.

All the accounts are password protected.

The admin account already has a password. But it doesnt ask for it. Just goes straight into the account. All the accounts have passwords.

Turn off auto login for the Admin account.

1. Click Start on the Windows taskbar, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type control userpasswords2, and then click OK.
3. In the dialog box that appears, click to select the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"
check box, and then click OK.
