Windows mail problem.

HELP,HELP,Have got a laptop with Vista which has windows mail installed.All was well until the other day ,now every time I log on to receive my new messages I get asked to confirm my user name & password.
When I input the info can't get it to accept.Any ideas??

Any idea why my existing windows mail keeps asking for the username though ??

Windows Mail is a horrible program, Windows Live Mail is a much better program, it's the version that Vista should have shipped with but I'm guessing it wasn't ready then.
