Does anyone know how to get WMC Vista to see and play MP4 files? I have a load on an NTFS-formatted drive which I want to play through the Xbox 360 but of course, the console can't see NTFS.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mp4]
"PerceivedType"="video"
"Content Type"="video/mp4"

copy and paste the above into a notepad and rename it .reg instead of .txt then merge/execute into registry.
will work for other extensions to just edit the mp4 bits to whatever extension you need.
