How to uninstall, the libary in WMP 11 is terrible!

Lmao exactly. Just go to system restore, thats what I done. It should have created a restore point.

If you have a large music collection, the library in WMP11 is *terrible* - it forces you to click through 2 or three times before you can see the tracks on a particular album - just nasty. It looks pretty alright, but the useability is absolute crap.

Also, still *no sign* of podcast support - get with the 21st century MS!!

On the contrary, i thought it was absolutely brilliant. I don't often look for specific songs though, i put albums on. Makes it far easier to browse through than looking at acres of text.

If you want to search for tracks, use the Songs part of the library, surely? Then search as you type using the search box.

Not impressed, it displays an album 3 times as though it thinks it's a seperate album. The tags on the MP3's are fine though.

Most likely the 'Album Artist' is different on each track. Happened to me in Media Center a few times.

I really like it, libary view is good, and even songs view is better than the old one, as the album art breaks it up a little :)

Looks loads better aswell :p

Anyone know if there is a way to get the album artist and track to be displayed all the time next to the album art in the top right corner? Currently only the album art, rating and track title are displayed until the cursor is moved to the album art area which is when the artist name appears. Also, maybe I'm going blind, but the green text in the playlist (currently playing) isn't as visible as a big highlighted bar would have been, as in WMP10.

Switch to the Now Playing view
click on the Now Playing button to bring up the menu where you should be able to select a visualization and 'Show List Pane' to display the playlist

Is there any way to get rid of this damn album art? I want my good old list of text :/
Same here, i miss the old simple list of artists down the right hand side in the libary.

You can change the view to remove the album art and show you streams and streams of artist names/album names/song names etc. Personally, I think it's far easier to spot Album covers than to read lots of text.

I wish MS and Apple would let iTunes and WMP talk with eachother. Half of the albums have no album art, and AAC files don't play.

The player is nice but the little "mini black toolbar" looks well out of place in the silver taskbar.

Same player, just BIG buttons. lol

I didnt think I`d like this player after seeing the pictures of the libery but god was I wrong I absoultly love it took me 2 mins to download install and setup and all my music is there in the libary with the album art.

I love the fact that you can paste album art onto any thing that dosent have it so all my live stuff that you cant buy now has preview picture which I got from google
