Wow fantastic good find. :D

DX.com accepted paypal, just registered with DX.com now and received $3 coupon that worked out £70.37 for 32GB after discounted. Now ordered it and confirmed with paypal, great price with shipping within 7-10 days. :D

Just ordered mine £72.22. Will update when it comes. No doubt it will ship in 7-10 days and then take a while from there. Hopefully will arrive this side of xmas.
Im curious about what OS it comes installed with, and how easy it is to install windows 10 dual booting android. Gonna be fun.

from their forum

Don't take it so literal. You are comparing an 8" tablet with a tiny device that can't be seen, they are for different purposes.

There's still a valid point that it's over-priced: practically the same hardware plus a larger enclosure, battery and screen for less money suggests that this stickmajig is being priced a bit too high for what you get.

At £45-50 this would be a nice bit of kit. At closer to £80 it's a bit steep

Yay hopefully not long now til proper desktop OS Windows phones... bad thing is in that form factor the CPU will hit thermal limits pretty quickly and throttle to 300-500MHz if you try doing something like playing a game for awhile on one :S (similar problem with the cheap Windows 8 tablets that forgo the more expensive cooling of the more pricey options).

Almost tempt to source one to break it open and use the bits to put a smartphone type device together.

I cancelled my order for the meegopad and ordered this.

Was torn between this and the guleek but this won cause of ethernet port. Not sure when id use the battery on the guleek. mine should be here on monday.

Shame the box is so huge that cant fit in your pocket and the Ethernet port is only capable of 100Mbit, not Gigabit. You would stick with meegopad at same price then plug in USB Hub with USB to Ethernet adapter.

Hopefully mine will arrive today.

Yeah they are so close to being perfect. The pipo has 32gb but I don't mind so much about the emmc as it will get an SD and will primarily be used for xbmc and steam streaming. Same with the network port gb would be nice but it won't be transferring files just streaming. Also no dial boot android on pipo was worst thing as that would have been nice.
