Hi guys,

I need some help!
Just got a new HTC S710 mobile. At the moment I use Blackberry in the office however I want to move over to the HTC and receive emails on it instead using mobile internet
However when I try to go through the setup using Activesync I get the following error :

owa.jpg

Outlook Web access is setup and installed and works. I have tried loads of different addresses but keep getting the same error message!

tried following :
https://mail.domainname.com:444/exchange
servername
\\servername
\\serverip
\\mail.domainname.com:444

etcetc...they just dont work

Our current webmail address is :

https://mail.domainname.com:444/exchange

Replacing all names with internal servers....still dusnt work :(

Does anyone know why this is happening?

I also have Outlook Mobile Access enable on the exchange server 2003.

Any advice is appreciated.

yea ive tried just the name also...just dusn't work :/ and obviously the server is running successfully..have also tried the servers IP incase it couldnt resolve DNS ... i cant think of what Im missing here....

hmm....are there any requirements on the exchange server end? Coz i havent configured anything there at all except the OMA and OWA really...
atm ive just isntalled activesync on a workstation and tried to do the above.

just the server name without any slashes wont work for me...even if i remove the SSL tick box...i can browse the server via the network

also for the domain field i just entered domainname.com

Might want to check out the following link - it refers to SBS but is relevant to the 'full fat' MS Exchange. - link

Also, what version of ActiveSync are you using?
And Windows Mobile?
Have you enabled the direct push technology in Exchange System Manager?
Have you got a certificate to install on the device?

hi johnny thanks for the replies )

Activesync is version 4.5
Windows Mobile 6

Push technology is enabled on exchange,
I use SSL for OWA does that have anything to do from the certificates?

Thanks for the help :)
