windows on a mac?

hi
ive got an ibook and ive heard now you can put windows on a mac. i was wondering can i have a dual boot system with OSX and XP installed? if so will it be hard to do?

Boot Camp is what you need. As for how easy it is, I'm afraid I couldn't tell you

Of course, you do need to have an Intel chip in there.

There aren't any iBooks with Intel chips I'm afraid. You can always go for the Virtual PC route but it isn't very fast, especially on a G4.

Disclaimer time - Boot Camp is beta software. It will only work on the new Intel Macs. That said I've found it bug free. It's really easy to install - it reclaims unused space back from the Mac hard drive, burns a driver CD and then boots off a standard XP SP2 CD.

PowerPC Mac owners have to use Virtual PC.

it says it's for intel-based machines. basically it's a BOOTCAMP operating via a virtual desktop...
