windows on ssd?

Hi all i just got my new gaming rig from overclockers but not sure of something. I bought a 250gb ssd and a 2tb 7200 rpm for extra storage. Now when i go into computer i see 2 drives, C Drive which has 1.75TB of 1.85TB free, and F Drive which has 138GB of 165GB free. Is the 165gb F drive my ssd? Windows is installed on the C drive i see windows folder in there also program files x86 too. Is it possible overclockers installed windows on my 7200rpm drive instead of my SSD? And if so why is F drive only showing 165GB it should be 250GB?? confused noob^^

It is confusing. Can you give us a screenshot of the Disk Management window for us? (Right click on My Computer > Manage > Disk Management)

Windows is indeed installed on the 2TB drive.

why would they do that.. the ssd was meant to be my primary drive, and the 2tb 7200rpm was extra storage

Looks to me that your F drive is the SSD and C drive the 2TB one and from what I can see Windows appears to be on the 2TB drive if i'm not mistaken.

is there a way i can safely install windows on the ssd and wipe the 7200rpm?

Provided you have the Windows DVD and COA (Serial) it's very easy to re-install or you could post here

A 250GB SSD should show as ~232.8GB in Windows.

i know its only showing as 168 gb i dont understand it. i have posted in the customer service section awaiting answer ^^

It is probably that they installed it on both (somehow) and then wiped the one on the SSD... or something. I'd get in contact with Customer Services, as I would think that they will guide you thru it, espeically as you have 24 months of warranty.

The SSD is probably an Intel 180gb.
