windows on ssd?

Looks like they've proper ballsed up your order/rig.. By the looks of it you've either been given a 180GB SSD or it's not been partitioned correctly.. Then to top it off they install the OS on the mechy HDD over the SSD..

Brilliant.. :p
 
I can understand your frustration but on rare occasions stuff happens.

Make sure to post in the Customer Service section of the forum and it'll all get sorted out.

Include your order number and you can mention the free games as well.

Quite possibly.

The maximum you can use for caching is 64GB and that's the amount that's "missing".

It would also explain why they installed Windows on the HDD.

I believe you can have Windows and the cache partition on the same SSD but I don't think that's the "normal" setup and requires some fiddling to get working that way.

I suppose ideally that's what you want though, Windows on the SSD with the cache for the HDD on there as well.
 
If you selected SSD Cache Setup you got exactly what you asked for. Part of the SSD space is acting as cache for the mechanical drive. The rest of the available space is just there for storage.

If you wanted the OS on the SSD and the mechanical drive just for storage that's what you should have asked for.
