Windows PE 2.0 Boot Disk?

For what OS? What are you trying to do? Vista and XP will let you boot off the CD, so will some 2000 and 98 discs if my memory isnt failing me.

yeah i'm just looking for a windows PE 2.0 boot disk that can do a little more than what the vista boot disk can, like explore files, run a few backup programs like ghost etc. the one i've mentioned is alright but just wanted to know if anyone knows any better ones.

thanks guys.
yeah i've used bartpe for over 2 years now but its only designed for windows xp so will not format vista partitions.
downloading windows pe from msft and compiling my own pe is just a pain in the backside, and i was just wondering if anyone uses a precompiled one for windows 2008/windows vista repairs, or uses anything else.

Few other bartpe beaters out there, I like geeksquads MRI very solid reliable Fmod Explorer can copy files like its unstoppable copier but even more reliable and fast and u can format drives still as well as run a few other nifty tools.

Theres powermix another top fav, hawkpe a good un as well and up to date with the latest sata drivers. My old time fav is Minipe which is like powermix but more up to date with sata support and more up to date software. One thing too note is to date only the GeekSquad MRIPE has usb refresh support, so u can plug in USB devices and detect on fly the other PE copies dont have that support from what ive seen.

Active@BootDisk does. ;)

I use both Active@BootDisk as well as MiniPE.

Active@BootDisk has been a complete lifesaver for me recently. It appears to be more user friendly and dare I say it "quicker" than Mini or BART when it comes to getting things done.

I find it especially useful for its "Explore my PC" function which you can use to backup and copy/paste data to an external drive.
