Windows Phone 7 - Essential Apps!

Not mentioned so far:

Tube companion - Shows you the closest underground stations to your position (London)
Local Concerts - shows gigs in your city from artists in your collection.
google search app - pretty useful if you arent so trustworthy of bing;)
London Cycle Hire - Pretty buggy at the moment but if fixed will be great, shows you closest 'Boris bike' stations and the number of bikes available in each.
Smart runner - GPS tracking of your runs, distance, calories etc.

Just ordered the Omnia 7. I know its not an app question but what screen protectors are people using for this phone? Can you recommend any good ones?

Invisible shields are pretty awesome, have had one on the iPod touch for a few years and still perfect. Will be looking to get one for the omnia as well, looks like they aren't in stock yet though.
 
For those of you on Orange, I phoned them yesterday, and the Orange maps app for 7 is "due in November" so should be available very soon!

Should be good, as it has turn by turn, speed camera/etc functionality :)
 
You really dont need a screen protector, all the modern screens are pretty solid and scratch proof unless you are REALLY reckless!

Quick question, when downloading apps, are the free ones counted to your monthly internet allowance, or is it both your free and paid for ones that count?

I ask because I am downloading 2 games at the moment, no idea what size they are, hoping it isn't more than 750 meg...

Second question, does my internet usage over wifi count towards my allowance? If so, that is just stupid, so the latter probably makes this question stupid as I can guess the answer.

Wifi has nothing to do with your data allowance, if you are on Wifi you will not use any of your data allowance no matter what you do.

If you download apps over 3G/H/etc, it will count toward your data allowance, free or otherwise.

I'd imagine two games wont be over 750MB, what games are they? I can find out if you are worried, but its highly unlikely!
