Windows resetting time and date

Hey guys my time and date gets a reset everytime i shut down and start my pc. I am fairly certain that it is do with the CMOS battery running low but im hoping someone could tell me that may be its another problem like win 7 bug or virus. I have no idea where to get a new CMOS battery, frankly this is the first time i have had this problem.

Please help.

The cmos battery is basicly just like a normal little cell battery, take it out read whats on it, and buy a replacement from your local supermarket, and job done.

I had this problem but worse. Even if I replaced the battery, raised the tongue or anything it would not stay right.

Had to replace my board after nobody knew what was wrong :/

I'm sure yours is just a case of dead battery though
