Windows Server 2012 R2

We've not had any issues arise as of yet (touch wood) with the fail-over cluster splitbraining at all. To be fair, the cluster has been pretty stable. Although that's not to say that we haven't had issues, but the issues we've had have been more down to the OS as opposed to the cluster itself.

We are also running SQL Server 2014 in a fail-over cluster environment as well, so are running a cluster within a cluster to add an extra complexity to things lol.

We currently have two main fail-over clusters running at the moment;

6 node (IBM x3550) cluster hosting approximately 30-40 virtual servers at present.
5 node (IBM x3650) cluster hosting approximately 70-80 virtual servers at present.

Thanks for that. I've just setup a cluster for an Exchange 2013 DAG, which was interesting.

Yep! and this one's only for a huge school with over 2000 mailboxes.

:eek::(:eek:

we run exchnage only for staff now, we give students Office 365 mail and one drive. But we are coming to the reality that now most of our students just use their own email accounts. The One drive 25gig space saves our servers tho.

We were running for students 3 years ago 6000 students :-)

We're trying to get the schools we look after to move to 365 but their in house IT are all scared and/or incapable of taking the jump.

It is a bit of a pain, esp as it stopped working a few weeks ago and was not syncing password resets. We found out that microsoft had changed the encription method and thus breaking the sync. Nice if they could have told us this :mad:

We skipped 2012 altogether, we only use R2. Previously, we also did the same with 2008 and only used R2.
