Ever since i built up my pc iv always had this problem. Just now im getting annoyed. What the problem is, is the shut down button doesnt actually shut down my system...it shuts it down THEN it powers back up but not fully. It powers up to the bios picture or manufacture picture then it stops there. Sometimes it goes blank after but doesnt power on. All the fans come on and the dvd drive works. Also when pushing the power button on the pc, it does the exact same thing..
Another problem is the restart button...it shuts down and does exactly what shut down does. Doesn't full power back on. This gets frustrating on windows updates...when they install and ask for restart, after restart and power off and power on again to get it to restart the updates always go "Unsuccessfully installed please restart" or something..
Is this a windows problem or bios/hardware? iv been through my bios but i see nothing that may cause some problem.
My MB is a MSI P55 GD65 and im on windows 7 64bit home premium.
