Hi all.

Over the last few days o have out 5 clean installs of Windows 10 on my PC, only for it to have problems.

Various things seem to cause it but I get errors around .dll file not working and this programme was unable to start etc etc.

I get the spinning circle on the Windows logo followed by a black screen with just a cursor then it starts and on the desktop I get an long loading icon next to my cursor.

I have clean installed the OS 5 times and it keeps happening. Sick sick sick of it.

Any help?

Corrupted installation disk/USB? Perhaps try recreating it again?

Might be a good idea to do a mem test as well just in case it's a RAM issue.

I'd be leaning towards hardware being at fault if 5 re-installs show the same problem... :p

Also, if you sign in with a microsoft account, it might be worth trying a local account instead. Obviously that means store apps will be unusable but it might help try and pin point the issue.

You could also have a poke around in Event Viewer.

Got a new one now windows\system32\config\systemprofile\desktop is unavailable.

It's just one odd error after another. Just done a RAM test and it seemed OK. Might try a new making a new boot drive.
