Windows stool in a loop

Hi all

Did a fresh format and install Friday, last night I shut the pc down and it applied updates now all the pc does is when it starts up it tells me it's applying updates gets to 32% and shuts down, but the pc freezes on the shut down screen I have to manually reset to get it to do the whole loop again does anyone have any ideas?

Have you allowed it plenty of time? To ensure it is stool and not just taking a long time over that bit of the install
Daft question I know but sometimes patience gets the better of us
If so you could maybe try booting into safe mode and restoring to a previous point, maybe one of the updates is corrupt
