Windows update problem

So after this update I lost all sound and my VST Addictive Drums wouldn't run as it stated it was on a different computer.
This sound issue happened last time there was update so had to roll back

So 2nd time having to roll back and all working as it should.
What is it with Microsoft. Should they not be testing this garbage before sending it out?

The software vendor should be updating their licensing mechanism to account for how Windows 10 does its feature updates (in place upgrade), they have had two years to sort it out.
Which sound card do you have out of interest? (and no a feature update shouldn't break your sound drivers).

As said this is the 2nd update I have had to roll back. Pretty poor show

Dont install drivers though Windows update, disable them and just install regular updates. I've had various issues in the past when updating drivers via Windows and had to install other drivers again to fix it.

Sounds more like broken DRM within VST Addictive Drums.

Next time an update happens I will see what happens then, but to loose sound through an update just is not right if its all working prior

Sounds about right for Creative I'm afraid, they don't have a great track record with driver support.
