I have just built a system for my mum, it has XP home upgrade installed.
Before i took the pc to her i got everything up and running sweet as, activated windows etc.
The first thing she does after i leave is to put a music cd in the drive, i get a phone call asking what to do next, the only software she has is media player.
So upon opening for the first time it is asking to run WGA, problem is she has not got access to the internet, she will have in about 4 weeks.
Is there a way around this, can i download the WGA software and run it on her machine.
I can assure you that it is a genuine copy.
Just had a thought, i could d/l another ap my end, maybe some one could recommend a player (free) to play her cd's, then i could get WGA sorted when she has net access.
