Windows Vista Folder... HUGE!

does it really matter how big your windows folder is? if your windows partition is set to 20gb you might have a problem but other than that, forget about it.... :p

Just 8 GB :O?
Why was vista protesting then when I had ''only 16'' gb left on a leftover hdd on which I wanted to try vista first before installing it on one of my main hdd's ?

EDIT: Whoa thx for the spacemonger tool, just got 15 GB of space back on my C drive :D.

Ok, I'm confused about my install. I just installed Vista Ultimate x64 as my XP install was getting tired and I had Vista laying around.

I always have one drive for the OS and another for my programs, but I give the OS a partition of a spare drive, so I don't lose the space in the void of C:.

My XP install had a 25GB partition as I figured that would be more than enough for it, and it was. Vista has a 30GB partition, same reason, and it's using 28GB!

I have a picture using SpaceMonger...

I need space on C: to install an app, that requires 3GB on C: and then 15GB on my programs drive, but I only have just over 2GB spare on C:.

What can I do about it? It is a fresh install so I can just install it all again (don't really want to, almost finished installing everything), and give it a bigger partition size, but I'd rather there was something simple I can do to fix Vista's hunger problem.
