Firefox said:
Failed to Connect

The connection was refused when attempting to contact google.com.

Though the site seems valid, the browser was unable to establish a connection.

i have this problem and im not sure how to fix it properly, but as a work around Ive found that if I disable the network adapter then re-enable it it all works fine. just not sure how to get it to work straight away when the pc boots up.

Like what eXor said, personaly i would say its a firewall problem.
