just installed my new CPU... booted up windows Vista Home Premium x64. i am connected to a Belkin Router with an ethernet cable and when i tunred the computer back on it cant connect to the internet nd says it has limited or no connectivity and is connected to an unidentified network. :S

my cables fine as i have test with another comp... my routers fine as i have tested with another comp.... its just thrown a right wobbler.

Just wondered if there are any solutions people can think of...

are you over clocked at all?

Its possible to push the fsb to far which can knock out the onboard lan.

Have had this before :( spent ages scratching my head re-installing and such.

Lowered the overclock slightly and all was fine again.

same thing happened to me mate - i think its the motherboard itself - as soon as i went out and bought a nic worked flawlessly

have a google for the problem and your board - a few people have had the problem

edit: assuming u still have the p5ne

i do mate. i just deleted. shutdown. removed power. plugged back in after 1 minute or so.... started back up with the network cable in and voila it asked me what i will use the network for i said HOME... and straight on :D
