Howzit guys.

I'm having a strange problem with my Windows Vista. I can't play any audio files as media player seems to have stopped working for some reason. The story behind it is I did a fresh install of Vista on my machine, updated to nVidia's BETA sound drivers for my nForce 3 chip. Then everything was working.

The next day, media player decided to stop playing songs. If I opened and audio file, Media player would load the file, and the time line bar at the bottom stays still. If I double click the song in the right hand pane, within media player, all that happens is the play/pause button changes to the puase sign, double click it again it goes back to the play button....even my winAMP 5.3 doesn't work.

The only way I have got around this problem was to restart the machine and everything would be fine again, until I stopped a song or closed media player....then it wouldn't work until the next restart.

Now even restarting the machine doesn't solve the problem...:(

Any ideas guys?
