Windows Vista Screenshots

I doubt I will get Vista if thats the only theme you can have.. makes me sick tbh.

Who cares what it looks like, you can make XP look like that if you get a theme.

What is more important is what it offers over XP

By all account for the average user/gamer etc not much! And it looks just like a Mac!!

Not that I can really talk:

Im all theme up as Vista so i doubt i will get it unless it does something special that XP does!

You're not the only one. Strikes me as the sort of theme which would appeal to the stereotypical ten year old American half life 2 addict who spends his time trolling internet forums reposting things they've found on "Digg" and writing messages such as "u r an idiot lol" whilst downloading illegal music. It doesn't strike me as a user interface suitable for business use, or people with taste for that matter.

I'd rather migrate to OSX and linux with KDE than use that as a default theme :o

The new theme(s) is(are) probably less than 1% of whats new in Vista and to be honest anyone buying a new OS just to get a slightly different look is crazy to start with!!!

Take a look at Clicky to get a much better idea about the changes

Whats the best way for me to run a Vista Theme like you have on my PC :) ?

Sam

I can't be bothered to read about the different types of Vista that will be available.. what, there's like 8?

I just hope you can turn off all the eye candy and run a standard Windows theme. If you can't then I will probably stick with x64 until they sort Vista.

Looks like the Teletubbies theme on Ecstacy tbh lol...Fire the designer.

Viva la' OS X ;)

....The best way to run a Vista theme is to get the patcher that disables authorised themes only (someone will post a link) and then just download the Vista theme.. right click, and change the appearance like you would normally :)

Everyone moaned in this way about XP when it came out but now most of you are running it. Give it time and I'm sure you'll all be running Vista!

Personally, I can't wait.

Vista is the only OS I've ever looked forward to. Windows in general has been needing a rewrite of all the underlying code for years, especially since half of it harks back to the win95 era. Win2k/XP is nothing in comparison tbh.

Would anybody know where I could get the background posted on those pictures for my own desktop.

It's the one with the small wooden fence looking out to sea.
