Windows Vista Screenshots

I don't like Vista's look much. I've used the Vista WB5 theme and I always end up going back to the XP default look, as it's much less dour and depressing, and also the titlebar font is easier to read. In fact the whole Vista explorer GUI is anti-intuitive and a backwards step, nay leap, from XP.

My favourite MS theme is the default Media Centre one - it's very pleasant and I guess you could say cheerful, compared to the dull dark Vista look.
 
I think a lot of people here are concentrating far too much on how VIsta looks. For me, it doesnt matter how it looks, that can be changed, what matters is the underlying features and benefits over XP.

If transparency effects somehow equal Mac, then you are totally right. If "looking just like a Mac" means it actually looks like a Mac in some way, then it doesn't look like you were looking at the screenshots.

I wish people would stop posting Vista screenshots because it just boils down to "OMGZ VISTAR IS JUST EXPEE WITH A THEEEME!!? NO WAI AM I BUYING THAT! LINUX RULES!".
