Windows vista

Hi
I have a 5 year old pc bought from pc world but didnt get the discs. Recently had a problem which forced me to reinstall windows from a rescue disc bought from eBay. The trouble is the original product key wont work with the new copy of windows and have to do it all again every 30 days.

Is there any way round this or am I goosed ? :confused:

Sounds like you have a different version of Vista than what was originally on it?

What version does the sticker say on the side of the box and what do you have installed?

Thanks, I won't be able to look till the weekend.
So if its a different version am I goosed?

If you post what version your sticker says, we can link you to a download vista image which you can burn yourself. You'll be able to re-install with your code then
