Windows wont boot without cd been in

windows is installed and runs fine but i have to have the xp cd in for it to work otherwise it says disk boot failure

if the cd is in it says press any key to boot from cd (ignore this) then boots fine

windows is instaled on raid 0 see sig for rig

you just need to set boot device priority in Bios to seek HDD first not your CD device. Your Bios is looking to boot from the CD first, when you ignore it, it looks for the HDD and boots normally.

this does not explain why he needs the cd in the optical drive to boot into the OS which is on C
 
ohh wel its all fixed.. turns out it could be one of many many things but took me a while to sort out.. 3 installs of windows later im all installed and all updated... now to install xp 64..
