Windows wont load properly

HELP! - Windows wont load properly

Hi all, really need help with this as it is driving me nuts

Basically i get the windows loading screen then the log in screen for like 1 second and then it suddenly goes to the "starting windows XP" screen, the HDD light flashes like its loading randomly for a bit but never shows a desktop.

occasionally the log in screen appears on boot up afer restarting and turning off the PSU and back on again. but 90% of the time i just get greated with the "starting XP screen"

has something in the registry gone amiss? and is it fixable, in fairness i done really want seperate accounts, if it just loaded up.....happy days

Can you get into Windows Safe Mode? If you get into Safe Mode ok it's usually a sign that some program is stopping Windows starting properly.
