windows xp activation problem

Got an old pc wich i Formatted recently,now for some strange reason,i activate windows and it works fine,but when i restart my pc it asks me to activate again,i have re-formatted twice in the past 2 days and it has been succesful everytime until activation is needed.

anyone else had this same problem?

you should install ALL drivers, so windows detected every hardware you got, then activate XP

Are you activating online? is there an established network connection?

Did you buy it from someone? if the key isnt legit it'll throw a wobbly when WU downloads WGA

ye i installed all drivers,updates etc,thats why i had to restart.

it is a legit key,only used it a few times due to this activation problem
